Canyoning is a really intense experience, which will make your and your children’s holyday unique.

Alessandro de Santis, guide and expert speleologist in the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, selected some routes suitable for children with minimum age of 6 years (minimum height 130-135 cm).

Short climbs, small waterfalls and natural water slides can give you a shot of adrenaline in safety. Alessandro is experienced to combine the thrill of canyoning with explanations and anecdotes of natural and geological interest.
Canyoning in our valley could be a unique experience, which will remain in your children’s memories forever.
The suitable canyoning routes are the following:
Rio Agaviva – the meeting point is in Pielungo (27 km, approximately 35 minutes driving from our camping). This is an easy route, suitable for everybody. Duration: 2h and 30min;
Forra del Cosa base – the meeting point is in Pradis (20km, approximately 25 minutes driving from our camping). This is an easy route, perfect for the first experience. Duration: 2h and 30 min;
Forra del Cosa medio – the meeting point is in Pradis (20km, approximately 25 minutes driving from our camping). This is a very easy route, but really exciting. Duration: 4 hours.

These routes are part of the monthly programme which is published at regular intervals of Alessandro’s website. As an alternative, you can directly contact him to plan with him your excursion at a date suitable for you. Alessandro rents out the equipment and the clothing for you and for your children, included in the price.

Look, just imagine…. Spend a few nights with your tent in the woods with the possibility to light a fire in safety and to cook your food, or even easier to caramelize your marshmallows and to organize an excursion with Alessandro…. This could be a short but such an intense holyday…
